Crop mites and pests

Etoxazole can effectively control the mites that are resistant to existing acaricides, and is extremely safe. Compounding objects are mainly abamectin, pyridaben, bifenazate, spirotetramat, spirodiclofen, triazolium and so on.

1. Mechanism of killing mites

Etoxazole belongs to the class of diphenyloxazoline derivatives. Its mode of action mainly inhibits the synthesis of chitin, hinders the embryo formation of mite eggs and the molting process from larvae to adult mites, so it can effectively control the entire juvenile stage of mites (eggs, larvae and nymphs). Effective on eggs and young mites, but not on adult mites.

2. Main features

Etoxazole is a non-thermosensitive, contact-killing, selective acaricide with a unique structure. Safe, efficient and long-lasting, it can effectively control the mites that are resistant to existing acaricides, and has good resistance to rain erosion. If there is no heavy rain within 2 hours after the drug, no additional spraying is required.

3. Scope of application

Mainly used for the control of citrus, cotton, apples, flowers, vegetables and other crops.

4. Prevention and control objects

It has excellent control effect on spider mites, Eotetranychus and Panclaw mites, such as two-spotted leafhopper, cinnabar spider mite, citrus spider mites, hawthorn (grape) spider mites, etc.

5. How to use

In the initial stage of mite damage, spray with 11% etoxazole suspending agent diluted 3000-4000 times with water. Effective against the entire juvenile stage of mites (eggs, larvae and nymphs). The duration of validity can reach 40-50 days. The effect is more prominent when used in combination with Abamectin.

etoxazoleThe effect of the agent is not affected by low temperature, it is resistant to rainwater erosion, and has a long duration of effect. It can control pest mite in the field for about 50 days. It has a broad spectrum of killing mites and can effectively control all harmful mites on crops such as fruit trees, flowers, vegetables, and cotton.

①Prevention and control of apple pan-claw mites and hawthorn spider mites on apples, pears, peaches and other fruit trees. In the early stage of occurrence, evenly spray the crown with 6000-7500 times of 11% etoxazole suspending agent, and the control effect is above 90%. ②To control the two-spotted spider mite (white spider) on fruit trees, spray evenly with 110g/L etoxazole 5000 times liquid. After 10 days, the control effect is over 93%. ③ To control citrus spider mites, spray evenly with 110g/L etoxazole 4,000-7,000 times liquid in the initial stage. The control effect is more than 98% within 10 days after the treatment, and the effective period can reach 60 days.

Matters needing attention: ① The effect of this agent is slow in killing mites, so it is suitable to spray at the initial stage of the occurrence of mites, especially in the egg hatching period. When the number of harmful mites is large, it can be used in combination with abamectin, pyridaben and triazotin which kill adult mites. ②Do not mix with Bordeaux mixture. For orchards that have used etoxazole, Bordeaux mixture can be used for at least two weeks. Once the Bordeaux mixture has been used, the use of etoxazole should be avoided. Otherwise, there will be phytotoxicity such as burning leaves and burning fruits. Some fruit tree varieties have adverse reactions to this agent, and it is best to test it before using it on a large scale.
