A New High Efficiency and Low Toxicity Insecticide -- Thiamethoxazine

Thiamethoxam is a second generation of nicotine high efficiency and low toxicity insecticide, with the chemical formula of C8H10ClN5O3S. It has stomach toxicity, contact killing and internal absorption activities against pests, and is used for leaf spray and soil irrigation root treatment. After application, it is quickly sucked in and transmitted to various parts of the plant, providing good control effects against stinging pests such as aphids, planthoppers, leafhoppers, whiteflies, and so on.

1. To control rice planthoppers, use 1.6~3.2g (0.4~0.8g of effective ingredient) of 25% thiamethoxam water dispersible granule per mu, spray at the early peak of nymph occurrence, 30~40L of liquid per mu, spray directly on the leaf surface, which can quickly transmit to the whole rice plant.

2. Use 5000~10000 times of 25% thiamethoxam solution or 10~20 ml of 25% thiamethoxam for every 100 liters of water (effective concentration 25~50 mg/L), or 5~10 g per mu (effective ingredient 1.25~2.5 g) for foliar spray to control apple aphids.

3. The use concentration of melon whitefly control is 2500~5000 times, or 10~20g (2.5~5g of effective ingredients) per mu is used for spray.

4. Control cotton thrips by spray 25% thiamethoxam 13~26g (active ingredient 3.25~6.5g) per mu.

5. Use 25% thiamethoxam 10000 times solution or add 10 ml (effective concentration 25 mg/l) per 100 liters of water, or use 6 g (effective ingredient 1.5 g) per mu of orchard for spray to prevent pear psyllid.

6. For the control of citrus leaf miner, use 3000~4000 times solution of 25% thiamethoxam, or add 25~33 ml (effective concentration 62.5~83.3 mg/l) per 100 liters of water, or use 15 g (effective ingredient 3.75 g) per mu for spray.
