Awiner Fungicide-Pyraclostrobin 5% + Metiram 55% WDG

Product Introduction

Awiner Pyraclostrobin 5% + Metiram 55% WDG is a highly effective, broad-spectrum, systemic pesticide fungicidewith protective properties. It is formulated as a wettable water-dispersible granule (WDG) and has good dispersibility and adhesion, making it suitable for use in modern Agricultural spraying equipment.

Mode of Action

The compound fungicide contains 5% Pyraclostrobin and 55% Metiram WDG. When systemic Pyraclostrobin combines with protective Metiram, together they create a dual defense system that offers both internal and external protection, thereby preventing and curing diseases at the same time. Pyraclostrobin inhibits fungal mitochondrial respiration by blocking the electron transfer from cytochrome b to cytochrome c₁, cutting off the fungus’s energy (ATP) supply. Metiram forms a protective film on the plant surface to stop pathogen spores from germinating and invading. Together, they extend the effectiveness period to 10–14 days and lower the risk of resistance.

Dosage and administration

Precautions

1. Correct Preparation: Accurately weigh the pesticide according to the recommended dosage, stir thoroughly before spraying.
2. Spraying Time: Best results are achieved at the early stages of disease occurrence or for preventative spraying. Avoid application during strong winds or high temperatures (above 30°C).
3. Interval: A spraying interval of 10–14 days is recommended. Adjust the frequency of application as needed based on disease development.
4. Alternating Use: To prevent pathogen resistance, alternate or mix with fungicides of different mechanisms of action.
5. Avoid Drift: Prevent pesticide drift to nearby non-target crops or water sources during spraying.
6. Safe Interval: Allow at least 7–14 days between harvests (depending on crop type).
